24th International biennial of children's and young people graphic art (Torun, Poland)

Children's Creative Art Centre and Gallery in Toruń with the participation of The Marshal's Office of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship in Toruń and The City Hall of Toruń invites children and young people from 7 to 19 years old to take part in the 24th International biennale of children's and young people graphic art.

The deadline for accepting entries is 31 May 2025.

COMPETITION OBJECTIVES

Popularisation among children and young people of workshop graphics, various techniques of flat, concave, and convex printing, which, like painting and drawing techniques, can become an important means of artistic expression.

The Biennial is an opportunity to exchange experiences between its participants, teachers, and instructors, and the post-competition exhibition will be a review of graphic works of children and young people from various countries.

PARTICIPANTS

The works will be evaluated in five age groups:
up to 7 years, 8-10 years, 11-13 years, 14-16 years, 17-19 years.

TOPIC Any

FORMAT The maximum size of a work is 100x70cm

TECHNIQUES

  1. Traditional graphic techniques: linocut, woodcut, gypsum engraving, collography, papercut, drypoint, etching, aquatint, lithography, template, serigraphy, and other intaglio, convex, and flat printing techniques.
  2. Computer graphics

The competition will not accept works sent by e-mail, or works made using other artistic techniques, such as drawing or painting.

The summary of the competition and the opening of the post-competition exhibition will take place in the latter part of October 2025.
