At the end of the summer, when the main crop begins to ripen, the season of fairs usually begins in Belarus, where farmers bring potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, apples and other vegetables and fruits that are traditional for our area. But in Loev this year the harvest festival has been held unusually, because the main character was a watermelon.

The 2nd open competition of school gardens continues. What do our participants grow in their gardens?

On the last Saturday of August, Loev will receive guests at the holiday “Day of Watermelon and His Friends”. Loev District Executive Committee will support this holiday and it will bring together participants of the “Watermelon and His Friends” initiative, as well as everyone who is interested in this topic.
